May 2010 - University of Rousse - Closing event in Rousse (BG)

The closing workshop took place on 13th and 14th May at the University of Rousse "Angel Kanchev."
The idea of closing workshop was to summarize and demonstrate the results of the project achieved in Bulgaria and in other participant countries.
The first day was devoted to the Exhibition of Agricultural Machinery and Automobiles 2010.
The second day official guests and participants were invited to get into the hall for workshop.
With University’s rector prof. Hristo Beloev wich welcomed the guests, attended the convention: Bojidar Yotov - Mayor of Rousse; Luben Nanov - Manager “Finance, economy and property management” of Bulgarian Post.
The results of the project were presented by assoc. prof. Velizara Pencheva .
The report for Impact and effectiveness was presented by assist. Prof. Asen Asenov
Results from postmen’s evaluation were presented by assist. prof. Svetlin Stoyanov.
The afternoon continued with a discussion on how to effectively use alternative vehicles in the postal and public services.
The event was finished with the last chance of testing and driving the alternative delivery vehicles on the streets of University.
The results presented at the closing event showed good development of the project and will contribute to its successful completion.
Participants in the event wished successful implementation of ideas in a wider scale.
